Vinyasa Flow Open Level
Vinyasa Yoga will tone, stretch, and strengthen your body while
it calms and relaxes your mind. This total body and mind workout
will torch calories and you will leave class with inner peace. You
will feel longer, leaner and de-stressed. The first half of the class
we will build heat as we flow through sun salutations, sequential standing poses and balances all linked by the breath. Gradually
we will move into seated postures, back bending, and inversions.
Each student is encouraged to work at his or her own pace.

Core Yoga Flow Open Level
Vinyasa flow with special emphasis on strengthening the core.

Gentle Yoga
A great choice for new students, seniors, or individuals with
limitations. This class will tone and strengthen the body, heal
injuries, and bring an over all sense of well-being.

Beginner / Intermediate Yoga
Change your life with the healing and heart opening benefits of
yoga! Come and connect your body, mind and spirit with breath,
posture and movement. This class will be a slower paced Vinyasa
style of yoga with the same benefits of opening and strength
building as the more advanced class. Working at your own pace
this class is perfect for the novice as well as the experienced
yogi looking for a more restorative class.

Hatha Yoga
Hatha yoga refers to a set of physical exercises known as asanas
or postures. Sequences of asanas are designed to align your skin,
muscles, and bones. The postures also open the many channels of the
body-especially the main channel, the spine-so that energy can flow freely.

Hatha is also translated as ha meaning "sun" and tha meaning "moon." These are
meant to be the balance of masculine aspects-active, hot, sun-and feminine
aspects-receptive, cool, moon-within all of us. Hatha yoga is a path that
works toward creating balance and uniting opposites. In the physical body
Hatha helps develop a balance of strength and flexibility. Learning to
balance our effort and surrender in each pose is part of that yogic path.

Other forms of yoga such as Vinyasa are based in Hatha practice.

Kids Yoga - and Art! - Ages 4 - 8 year olds
Combining yoga and art, kids will have the opportunity to fully
express themselves creatively in this class. Classes begin
with a 45-minute yoga instruction that will guide kids through
a creative yoga experience combining poses with games,
as well as breathing and relaxation techniques.

Non-competitive and fun, kids will work on developing strength,
flexibility, balance, concentration and self-confidence. Following
the yoga segment, kids will get the chance to explore the arts
and express themselves creatively, engaging in a yoga-inspired
art project. Children will explore and create with varied media
that encourages self-expression and artistic awareness.

Kids Yoga - 8 – 12 year olds
For beginners or kids who have practiced yoga before, this class
will be fun, engaging and challenging - focusing on breath, postures
and meditations that will relax and recharge students.

Building confidence, kids will learn how to use yoga to work
through everyday challenges. With more on their plates then ever
- this class gives them a place to de-stress and have fun as a
group while building focus, strength and flexibility.

High School Yoga
Yoga brings awareness that helps you tone your body, build
strength, poise and balance. Teens will not only learn the
asanas (yoga poses) and proper breathing exercises but
they will have fun too!

Prenatal Yoga
Asanas safely blended specifically for the body and mind during
pregnancy. A beautiful time in your life to practice with your child.

Yin Yoga with Chakra Therapy

Ignite Yoga Center is the only yoga studio in the area to
offer Yin Yoga with Chakra Therapy
Yin Yoga is beneficial to the bones and the connective tissues
such as joints and ligaments. Yin Yoga targets these areas by
providing prana (life energy) to help sooth, heal and realign the
joint and ligament system.

Yin Yoga is "passive". Simpler poses are held longer than other
forms of yoga. The breath is kept steady and soft to the point of
meditation. The benefits of the extended retention of the poses
are that it lubricates and creates more space in the joints. The
quiet harmony of deep, rejuvenating holds, joined with easy,
uniform breaths; infuse the ligaments and connective tissue
with life energy.

Yin Yoga might at first seem boring or tedious. The holds can
actually become quite challenging. The resulting outcomes of
released tension and pain will affirm the benefits.

Yin Yoga is suitable for any level student because there are
many modifications that can be given and the slow pace allows
the practitioner to achieve a comfortable position for their own
body. Our smaller yoga room, Agni is equipped with special
lights that correspond to the colors of the Chakras (energy
centers of the body).

Starting with the first Chakra and working up to the seventh
the energy centers are further stimulated by the corresponding
colors relating to each Chakra. This can lead to a more balanced
Chakra system and accelerated healing of the bones, joints
and ligaments.

Fusion Class
Begins with a meditation and warm up and moves into a
Vinyasa Flow and transitions to Yin Yoga with Chakra Therapy.
Open level.

Hot Yoga Detox Sequence Open Level
Heated class consists of asanas (yogic exercises) specifically
designed to awaken the agni (digestive fire) in the body helping
to detoxify, and encourage the metabolism and rejuvenation.
Specific set exercises warms the body and deepens the
practice - strengthening and making tissues more flexible.
Focus is on steady, slow breath.

Chakra Balancing Vinyasa Open Level
Heated or non heated - 75 minute class. Concentrating 10
minutes on each chakra, the body's energy centers, beginning
with the root center we systematically work upward chakra by
chakra. Class includes warm up, breathing exercises and mantras.
Therapeutic lights and aromatherapy enhance the practice.

Hot Spicy Vinyasa Flow Open Level with Chai
"Consciousness in perfect action" - Heated vinyasa flow. Varied
flow of asanas composed to produce stamina, strength and
resistance to mental and physical illnesses. Class builds toward
challenging asanas while encouraging participants to work at
their own level and pace.

Anusara Yoga

Kundalini Inspired
We live in a supercharged era. The vibrational frequency of the
planet is accelerating to the frequency of the Heart Center. We

Yoga Dynamics Advanced
Yang approach to yoga. Very dynamic, keeps pulse rate high,
helps detoxification process of the body. Using traditional hatha,
himalayan and kundalini elements.

Chakra Balancing Private Session
Developed for those who are rehabilitating from surgery, an
illness or chronic physiological problem and for whom a group
class would be too strenuous. A one to one customized session
perfectly designed for your well-being, enhanced with chakra
light and aromatherapy. Concentrating on a specific area of
your body that needs help. Breath work and meditation may
be the focus if physical exercises are not yet appropriate.

Private Session
We will create a yoga class that is tailored to your specific needs.
If you are new to yoga, or want to address a specific physical or
mental issue, schedule a private session or package of private
sessions. Start with a one on one consultation and set up a
program to tailor fit your needs. If you feel injury, illness, or weight
are stopping you from living to your potential let yoga weave it’s
magic into your life and free the path for your personal journey.
This is also a wonderful way for beginners to feel confident
to jump into a class armed with the basics of yoga.
